Engage sponsors on opportunities to collaborate and enhance the sustainability performance of the event.
Sponsors can collaborate through the planning, management, delivery and dissolution of sponsored products, services and programs. They can also help by rolling out their sustainability objectives and targets throughout their own supply chain.
Recruit and buy from the local community, encourage diversity and follow ethical hiring practices.
Strive for participation of persons of diverse socio-economic, cultural and ethnic background, include aboriginal people and persons with disabilities. Be pro-active in achievieng gender balance. Lease, rent or buy local, environmentally friendly, and community-inclusive
